Resetting your Google Pixel’s hardware settings typically involves performing a factory reset, which will restore your device to its original state. Here’s how to do it:

Important Note: Performing a factory reset will erase all data on your device, including apps, photos, and settings. Make sure to back up any important data before proceeding.

    Using the Settings App

    1. Backup Your Data
      – Go to Settings
      – Scroll down and select <System>
      – Tap <Backup>
      – Ensure that your data is backed up to your Google Account.
    2. Perform the Factory Reset
      – Go to <Settings>
      – Scroll down and select <System>
      – Tap <Advanced>
      – Select <Reset options>
      – Choose <Erase all data (factory reset)>
      – Confirm your PIN, pattern, or password if prompted.
      – Tap <Erase all data> to start the process.
    3. Follow On-Screen Instructions
      – Your Pixel will begin the factory reset process. It may take several minutes to complete.
      – Follow the on-screen instructions to set up your device as if it were new.

Your Google Pixel will now be reset to its factory settings, restoring its hardware settings to their original state. Make sure to set up your device again, and if needed, restore your data from the backup you created before the reset.
